Things and Thoughts | Plague Doctor Masks and London...

I was organizing my computer files when I found this picture... It is a photograph of my favorite necklace, a plague doctor mask, hanging in front of a poster of London. I love this picture... Taken from my bed in my room in my parent's home... Which is still my home in a way i think. Most of the time anyway. I don't even have that necklace anymore. Gave it to my mother, to fix and never saw it again. The poster I brought from England... You can even recognize some of the city... The Big Ben... The Buckingham palace... And of course, the Thames, the ancient and lovely Thames, inspiration for the poetry of Wordsworth:

"Glide gently, thus forever glide, Oh! Thames that other bards may see as lovely visions by the side..."

I guess watching Sherlock walking around London yesterday made me homesick... For the home I still have, for the home that is not quite my home and for all the other homes that lay ahead in every corner of the world...
